Trasy Enterprises has developed a machine for Hot melt dot coating using EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate). This machine coats hot melt adhesive in dots or patterns as engraved on the cylinder. The of hot melt adhesive is applied to a substrate (such as paper, fabric, plastic, or metal) using a precise dot coating technique. This method is commonly used in various industries such as packaging, textiles, automotive, and electronics.
The EVA adhesive is loaded into a hot melt adhesive tank and heated until it reaches the molten state. A precise application system, such as an engraved roller applies the molten adhesive to the surface of the substrate in the form of small dots or patterns. A slot die head delivers a controlled amount of adhesive to the engraved roller. After application, the molten adhesive cools and solidifies quickly at room temperature. This allows for a fast-curing time, which is one of the key advantages of hot melt adhesives. Depending on the application, the coated dots may serve to bond two surfaces together, provide a protective layer, to add friction as anti-skid property or offer a decorative finish.
Applications of Hot Melt Dot Coating is in Packaging, Textiles, Automotive, Electronics.
