This machine can be used for making of medicated transdermal patches. The machine consists of a melting unit where the medicated adhesive is melted and pumped through the slot die for coating on the release liner in stripes.

These stripes allow breathing to the skin and avoids punching holes in the patch. This coated release liner is then laminated with cloth or nonwoven fabric or film where the medicated adhesive gets transferred to the base cloth.
